Program Management Unit

The PMU will be established at the PDD level, GoS, serving as the nodal department for the Program. The PMU will bear direct responsibility and accountability for the execution of activities, day-to-day management, and coordination, as well as fulfilling the administrative and legal obligations of both the GoS and the world Bank. It will also be mandated to organize Implementation Support Missions (JRM) with the World Bank and prepare documents for the JRMs. The PMU will guide and support priority departments and provide information and examples of good practice on all aspects of Program implementation. It will periodically monitor the progress of the Program implementation and serve as the nerve center of the Program.
